About Fun On Wheels UK
Fun on Wheels UK is operated by Terry Bassingthwaighte who is an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and the area instructor for the European safety Institute offering ATV & quad bike training. This is an independent Driving Academy offering tuition for new learner drivers, refresher courses & trailer towing courses for B + E classifications
Who am I
I have been involved in the motor industry since leaving school at 16 when I qualified as a mechanic, then went into sales, and then for the past 20 years have been a fully qualified HGV driver including working all over Europe. Four years ago I set up Fun on Wheels UK Quad Bike & Buggy safaris in the Bury St Edmunds area. This has led on to a passion for teaching after being invited to be an Instructor for the European ATV Safety Institute (EASI). I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor in order to be able to pass on my knowledge & driving skills to the next generation of drivers. Having had many years of driving LGV Class 1 vehicles & towing trailers I have the experience to teach B + E trailer towing.
I offer relaxed, friendly & informative lessons, teaching driving skills for life and not just to pass your test – make learning to drive fun with Fun on Wheels UK. Each student will be coached on their individual needs, at their own pace and under no pressure. Driving is a skill for life!
I am a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) by the Driving Standards Agency and a member of the Driving Instructors association (DIA) and also Safe Child Registered. I regularly access Continual Professional development to maintain up to date knowledge & high standards of coaching skills
I offer flexible lesson times from 1 hour minimum depending on each students individual needs and offer Pass Plus training for after you have passed your test.
